Russia may decrease gas price for Moldova

During the meeting of Russian Gazprom’s shareholders, an opinion was voiced that the price of natural gas for Moldova could be reduced by 30 dollars per 1 thousand cubic meters in the next three years.

According to the document, the concern should supply up to 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the amount of not more than $3.5 billion to the territory of Moldova, including the unrecognized Moldovan Transdniestrian Republic. It is expected to occur in 2015-2017. In the previous year the average price per 1 thousand cubic meters was about $380, and in 2014 it should be no more than $350.
