Two oil deposits with reserves of 45 million tons have been discovered in Western Siberia

The Eurotech-Yugra Company has discovered the Ouryinskoye deposit with extractable hydrocarbons reserves by C1+C2 at a rate of 33 million tons of oil at the border of the Sverdlovsk region and the Yugra autonomous area. They discovered the Western-Karabash deposit with reserves by C1+C2 of 15 million tons sent to the balance.

The Ouryinskoye deposit was discovered within the work of AROG, the joint venture of Repsol and Alliance Oil. The Western-Karabash deposit was discovered by Siberian Geological Company CJSC owned by Zoltav. The new deposits are discovered in 2 of 3 potentially new oil and gas production centers in Western Siberia – Koltogor and Karabash.
