Zapolyarneft and Yangpur are fined for low level of APG utilization in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District

The Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District has fined four oil-producing enterprises 9.7 million rubles for inefficient use of subsoil, the press centre of the District’s public prosecution office reports.

The audit found that Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz, Zapolyarneft (a part of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz), RITEK (a subsidiary of LUKOIL) and Yangpur (a subsidiary of Tekhneftinvest) didn’t comply with the standards of the APG utilization that were declared in license agreements. For example, Yangpur has utilized only 17.3% of APG instead of 95%.
