Rosneft to supply oil from BP-TNK’s fields to China

Rosneft wants to fulfill its obligations on raw materials supply to China on account of oil from BP-TNK’s deposits. The state company filed a corresponding application to the Ministry of Energy to increase supplies via the Transneft’s system.

At present, Rosneft exports oil as from its own resources, as from resources of its joint ventures – Udmurtneft (the second shareholder is Chinese Sinopec) and Polyarnoye siyanie (ExxonMobil is its co-owner) under commission agreements. Udmurtneft develops 24 oil fields in Udmurtia; its production is over 6 million tons of oil per year. The company Polyarnoye siyanie works in Timano-Pechora. In 2010, its production made up 1.4 million tons. Mister Kasimiro asks in his letter to itemise separately schedule that is provided for delivery of oil from resources besides Udmurtneft, Polyarnoye siyanie and BP-TNK holding company.
