The Bank requires security measures on the syndicated loan of $ 1 billion.
VTB Bank, one of the three largest creditors of "Mechel", has filed a lawsuit to the company into London's High Court, demanding that security measures on the syndicated loan. In Russia the bank has already sued the company for 50 billion roubles, and requires 63 billion roubles in the courts of Switzerland and Singapore from the subsidiaries of "Mechel".
