In 2012, the proved gas reserves of Gazprom under international standards PRMS insignificantly decreased from 19.2 to 19.1 trillion cubic meters, the Russian gas holding company reports.
The prospective reserves grew from 3.6 trillion cubic meters to 4.3 trillion cubic meters. The proved and prospective reserves increased by 2.6% to 23.4 trillion cubic meters. Gazprom explains the growth of these reserves by “introduction of the new projects of the Kovykta field in audit”.
