SOCAR reduced oil extraction by 7.6% in January-February 2016

In January-February 2016 extracted 1 mln 252 thousand tons of oil, by 7.6% less than in January-February 2015.
In February 2016 SOCAR extracted 605 thousand tons of oil.
In January-February 2016 the extraction in Azerbaijan made up 6 mln 857.5 thousand tons of oil (-1.5%), including in February – 3 mln 339.3 thousand tons.
In 2015 SOCAR extracted 8 mln 160.5 thousand tons of oil, the production in Azerbaijan amounted to 41 mln 689 thousand tons.
Azerbaijan forecasts oil extraction in 2016 at 40 mln 744.9 thousand tons.
