ExxonMobil ready to cooperate with Rosneft in the Arctic after the settlement of situation with sanctions –Novak

​ExxonMobil is ready to go on cooperation with Rosneft in the Arctic after the settlement of the situation with the sanctions, the Minister of Energy, A. Novak said.

“The company is ready to go on participation in the project’s realization as soon as all the sanctions are lifted”, he said.

In the process of the last visit of ExxonMobil’s head, R. Tillerson, the issues of cooperation in the company’s project in Russia were discussed.

Mr. Tillerson met with the Vice-Prime Minister, A. Dvorkovich, Minister of Energy, A. Novak, Minister of Finance, A. Siluanov, and twice with the President of Rosneft, I. Sechin, in Moscow. Mr. Tillerson said that ExxonMobil wasn’t going to shut down its business in Russia but is interested in its development.
