Oil companies of the Nenets autonomous district present plans on the development of Arctic shelf

Oil companies that develop fields in the Nenets autonomous district have presented their plans on the development of Arctic shelf in 2014, the press center of the regional administration reports.

The plans on development of offshore fields in the region were presented to the Nenets autonomous district’s Governor Igor Fedorov during meetings with management of Gazpromneft-Sakhalin and RN-Shelf-Arctica, the Rosneft’s subsidiary.

The Gazpromneft-Sakhalin’s CEO, Alexander Korobkov presented the company’s plans on development of the Dolginskoye oil field on the shelf of the Pechora Sea, where it works as an operator from 2012. In the next year, the company plans to drill an exploratory well within the geological exploration stage and construct platforms for annual oil production.
