Gazprom to grant a loan to oil company in Venezuela

The state-owned oil company of Venezuela will receive a loan in the amount of $1 billion from Russian Gazprom to solve problems of its oil-depending economy, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer writes.

The Oil Minister of Venezuela Rafael Ramirez stated that the loan would help the state-owned company PDVSA to reduce the debt burned and speed up the development of joint project with Gazprom in western state Sulia.
