FAS doesn’t recognize the new face of Gazprom – the Service turns down its affiliation with Rosneftegaz

Gazprom’s hope to avoid an offer to the minority shareholders of gas distribution organizations, bought by the monopoly, can not come true. Gazprom expected to do it through recognition of its affiliation with Rosneftegaz, from which assets were bought. But the FAS, to which the minority shareholders applied, found that Gazprom and Rosneftegaz are not affiliated bodies. This conclusion will strengthen positions of the minority shareholders that try to sue.

On Tuesday, a trial on the suit of Arsager to Gazprom started in the Moscow commercial court. As a representative of the management company told  Kommersant yesterday, the court requested additional documents and the next session is assigned for December, 18th. Arsagera registered a claim in mid-October. The company demands  Gazprom’s make an offer for its shares of four gas distribution companies (GRO) - Rostovoblgas, Kalugaoblgaz, Nizhegorodoblgaz and Tambovoblgaz.
