In January - September Oleg Deripaska’s "UC Rusal" increased its production and sales of aluminium, even though world market prices have decreased due to the influx of Chinese exports, and the company still states about the possibility of reducing the capacities by 200 thousand tons. The analysts believe that the reduction will not affect the market balance, because inefficient power can be replaced by the Boguchansk aluminium plant, which "UC Rusal" and "RusHydro" still plan to launch before the end of the year.

"UC Rusal" of Oleg Deripaska slightly - by 1.4% - increased the production of aluminium despite the surplus in the market: within first nine months of the year 2.72 million tons were produced. The sales of the company also rose by 4.2% to 2.76 million tons, although in January - September the average sales price for "UC Rusal" decreased by 3% to $ 2,087 per ton. In Q3 the company's sales prices sagged even more - by 13% to $ 1,843 per ton.
