Rosneft and ExxonMobil are the winners in the license round in Mozambique

RN-Exploration Ltd and ExxonMobil are the winters of the tender for 3 sites in the framework of the 5th license round in Mozambique.
The consortium won despite of the strong competition with other world major oil companies.
On the results of consideration of 23 applications it was decided to give Rosneft and ExxonMobil 3 license sites: A5-B in the basin of the Angoche river and Z5-C and Z5-D in the estuary of the Zambezi river. The perspective of holding the exploration works at the license sites is confirmed in the framework of the analysis of geological services of the companies.
