Moody's believes that the Russian metallurgists to be in more difficult situation in 2016 than the European ones

The forecast of the development of the metallurgical industry in Europe and Russia in 2016 by Moody's, published on October 27th, shows stable tight situation in the market.

The forecast for the European iron and steel industry will remain stable over the next 12 months. This is stated in a report published on Tuesday, “Steel - Europe and CIS-countries: The stable outlook reflects the growth of demand, but is constrained by low prices” by the international rating agency Moody 's Investors Service.

An increase of steel consumption on the foreign markets and the improvement of the regional prospects for economic growth in Europe, which will support the growth in demand for steel products, will play into the hands of metallurgists. Nevertheless, high pressure on prices may reduce profitability.
