Forging plant is modernized at “Krasny Oktyabr”

They have carried out the large scale updating of the automated forging complex “Devi-Maki” at the forging shop of “VMZ “Krasny Oktyabr” as a result of the joint operation of the specialists of the enterprise and the Italian DANIELI.

The old relay control was completely replaced by a digital one. The technical re-equipment concerned all the system of the complex: press group, oil station, pumping house, transformers, manipulator s and hydraulics.

The specialists of the Italian DANIELI carry out installation supervision and control over the arrangement, installation work and adjustment of new equipment.

-This modernization is necessary for “Krasny Oktyabr” in order to upgrade the existing equipment and meet the demand of the modern automation system, Italian specialists say. As a result all the rare parts and components we have replaced by modern ones. The installed system includes new software, and what is more it is easier to maintain. Operators can adjust the control as they want. It will improve the work of the complex. To date it is the most modern management system of pressure equipment, which DANIELI delivers worldwide.
