The expansion of "Rosneft": the state-owned company may become a co-owner of "Lukoil".

According to Forbes, Leonid Fedun wants to sell his 9.77% of "Lukoil". State "Rosneft" is one of the possible buyers.

The co-owner of "Lukoil" Leonid Fedun plans to sell his stake in the oil company, several sources told the Forbes: a person who knows it from the staff of "Lukoil", an employee of the counterparty of "Lukoil" and a person close to "Rosneft". According to the latter, "Rosneft" is negotiating with Fedun on the purchase of his share.

The managers of "Lukoil", including Vagit Alekperov, the president of the company, are continually increasing their share. Alekperov directly or indirectly controls 22.54%. As of the mid-summer, Fedun owns 9.77% of the shares. On Tuesday, October 29th on the Moscow stock exchange "Lukoil" was valued at 1.713 trillion roubles, therefore, Fedun’s package can be estimated at 167.4 billion roubles. The remaining managers own more than 2%. "Lukoil" itself owns 11.25%.
