In January – September, Rosneft increased hydrocarbons production to 4.8 million barrels in oil equivalent a day

In January – September, Rosneft increased hydrocarbons production by 1.8 times to 4.831 million barrels in oil equivalent a day. In Q3, it increased by 2.0% to 4.884 million barrels in oil equivalent a day. Oil and liquid hydrocarbons production was 4.193 million barrels a day. Gas production increased to 10.82 billion cubic m.

The growth in oil production is presupposed by the successful realization of the drilling program at the Uvat and Vankor deposits. Vankor remains the leading developing asset/ greenfield of the company, demonstrating successful results of breakdown-free drilling and moving to the threshold of 70 million tons of accumulated production by the end of 2013. In Q3, the 3 largest developing assets Vankor, Verkhnyaya Chona and Uvat Group shared 19% in the company’s production. Thus,creating the starting point for the future growth, Rosneft executes are successful in preparing for the launch of the new deposits in West and East Siberia and the Yamal-Nenets autonomous area.
