Gazprom wants to introduce prepayment for gas supply to the Ukraine. Miller demands to pay $882 million urgently

Gazprom is concerned about situation with payment for Russian gas supply to the Ukraine, because August supplies are still not paid.
The contract provides for transfer to a prepayment system in the case of a violation of payment terms, A.Miller stated to journalists.
“We are very concerned about the current situation with payment for Russian gas supply by the Ukraine,” – A.Miller said, mentioned that recently Gazprom repeatedly met its Ukrainian colleagues half-way in the issues of fulfillment of the contract’s terms.
Gazprom agreed to prepay transit to make possible for Naftogas Ukrainy to pay for the gas supplied on time and in full – the company prepaid for the gas transit through the Ukraine and now it is paid till January of 2015.
