Bashneft releases preliminary operating results for the nine months of 2013

During the period from January through September 2013, oil production at the Company’s fields amounted to 11,900 thousand tonnes, which is 3.2% (371 thousand tonnes) more than in the same period in 2012.

In the third quarter of 2013, Bashneft produced 4,132 thousand tonnes of oil, which is 6.5% more than in the third quarter of 2012. In the third quarter of 2013, Bashneft’s average daily production totalled 44.9 thousand tonnes per day, reaching a record high since 1995.

Production growth was related to highly efficient geological and engineering operations at brownfields in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the start of pilot production at the R. Trebs and A. Titov fields in the Nenets Autonomous District, where the Company produced 120 thousand tonnes of oil in August and September 2013.
