Rosneft extracted 1.6 mln tons of oil at Northern Chaivo

​1.6 mln tons of oil were extracted at the Northern Chaivo deposit at the north-eastern shelf of Sakhalin developed by Rosneft from the moment of start of operation in May 2014 until September 2015.

Rosneft was issued a license for the Northern Chaivo in September 2011.

According to the CEO of Rosneft’s affiliate – RN-Shelf Far East – V. Rudanets, the entire oil has been exported to the APR via the terminal of the Sakhalin-1 project in De-Castri in the Khabarovsk region.

APG is sold to consumers in the Far East and 144 mln cubic m has been realized already.

The total amount of capital expenditure for Sakhalin-1 made up 119.7 bln roubles.
