Oil production profitability in the Arctic shelf between $52-81 per barrel, D.Khramov

Oil production profitability in the Arctic shelf makes up $52-81 per a barrel of oil. First deputy Minister of Natural Resources D.Khramov said at a conference “Oil and Gas of Sakhalin 2015”.

According to him, there have been drilled 89 wells in the Arctic. The cost of drilling of 1 borehole makes up $500-700 million. Probability of discovery of a deposit with commercial stocks makes up 13.5%. According to him, Rosneft and Gazprom own 122 licenses, 51 of which belong to Rosneft and 40 – to Gazprom. The remaining part is under dispute.
