Gas extraction in the Ukraine might grow by a quarter within 5 years

The Ministry of Energy and Coal plans to increase gas extraction by 5 bln cubic m, the Minister V. Demchishin said.
It will happen partially by means of private producers, the issue of new licenses, including to Ukrgasdobycha.
He said it is necessary to reduce rental payments and that will stimulate the additional investment into the Ukrainian extraction sector.
In the framework of registration of sites for oil and gas companies the procedure should be quick and easy, Demchishin said.
