The Russian side offers the Ukraine not to expect the verdict of the Stockholm Arbitration Court and to set the price for gas supplies to the Ukraine at a rate of $385.5 per 1,000 cubic m, the Minister of Energy of Russia, A. Novak says under the results of the negotiations with the Vice Chairman of the EC, G. Oettinger.
Currently the gas price for the Ukraine is $485.5 per 1,000 cubic m. He claims that Russia offered such an opportunity before. The current contract presupposes the opportunity of a discount of $100 per 1,000 cubic m at the expense of the customs duty.
