In H1, Norilsk Nickel's net profit reduced by 2.7 times to $545 million

In H1, Norilsk Nickel's net profit under ISA reduced by 2.7 times to $545 million, compared to $1.481 billion a year ago. If not taking into account non-monetary write-downs at a rate of $636 million, the net profit would be $1.2 billion, by 21% less than last year. Revenue declined by 6.1% to $5.6 billion. The reductiond happened due to the considerable fall in non-ferrous metals price and lower volumes of sales of nickel and platinum in physical terms.
