Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz increases oil extraction by 6%

In the first half of 2013 oil extraction at Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz increased by 6% compared to the first half of 2012. Since the beginning of the year the enterprise has extracted 4.4 million tons of oil.

The considerable growth in the extraction was stimulated by efficient geological and technical actions as well as multistage hydrofracturing at horizontal wells. Since the beginning of the year 57 new wells have been put into operation, including 40 horizontal wells with use of multistage hydrofracturing. Sidetracking was conducted at 30 wells, 50 wells were transferred to other geological horizons and hydrofracturing was conducted at 70 wells. Thus, actual overfulfillment of the business plan makes up 25 geological and technical operations. The total amount of the geological and technical activities makes up 207, the press service of the company reports.
