"Gazprom" and SIBUR to build largest gas processing plant in Russia.

"Gazprom" and SIBUR have signed a contract for the design and construction of the Amur gas processing plant (GPP). The whole cycle of works will cost 790.6 billion roubles. The register of the company on a turnkey basis is scheduled for June 30th, 2025.

Amur GPP will be the largest enterprise in Russia and one of the largest in the world in natural gas processing. The commodity products of the plant will be methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane-hexane fraction and helium. The planned capacity of the GPP is up to 49 billion cubic meters a year, it could become a world leader on the volume of production of helium.
