Rosneft to buy assets of Weatherford at price of no more than $398.5 million

The amount of the transaction on the purchase of the assets of the Swiss oil services company Weatherford by Rosneft could make up $398.5 million. This is decision of the oil company’s Board of Directors published on its website on July, 28.

According to the report, the sellers are Weatherford Worldwide Holdings GmbH, Weatherford Drilling International Holdings (BVI) Ltd. and Weatherford Holdings (RUS), and buyers - RN-Service and West-Schmidt Invest.

The subject of the transaction are the shares in authorized capitals of Orenburgburneft, Nizhnevartovskburneft, Nizhnevartovsk well servicing enterprise - 1, Well workover enterprise, Chernogornefteservis and Belarusian enterprise for enhanced oil recovery and well workover.
