Kyrgyzstan has suggested to Kazakhstan to discuss duty-free oil supplies of up to 100,000 tons in 2014 and up to 300,000 tons in 2015 necessary for the internal market of Kyrgyzstan. They report about that in the protocol of the negotiations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan devoted to the points of the joining of Kyrgyzstan to the Customs Union and Common Economic Area and bilateral cooperation held on July 25-26th 2014. Kazakhstan agreed to discuss possible releasing from the charging of import customs duties for the declared oil volumes if the economic entities of the states agree to supply oil from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan will also analyze the suggestions of Kyrgyzstan and will present within one month its position on the list of goods for which it could reduce the rates of export customs duties, and about possible reduction and gradual cancelling of export duties.
