In H1, VMZ produced 810 thousand tons of pipes

In the first six months of this year, Vyksa metallurgical plant (VMZ, a part of United Metallurgical Company) increased its pipe production by 2.5% as compared with the same period in 2013 to 810 thousand tons, including the production of large diameter pipes, which increased by 10% to 444 thousand tons.
In the reporting period, the production of railway wheels decreased by 37% as compared with the same period of the previous year to 244 thousand wheels.
In the reporting period, the production of rolled steel plate amounted to 270 thousand tons, which corresponds to the level of the previous year.
