In H1, Azerbaijan increased investment into the oil sector by 31.4% to 2.96 billion manats, the State statistic committee reports. In 2013, Azerbaijan increased investment into the oil sector by 24.2% to over 4.82 billion manats.
Investment into production, distribution of and provision with electric energy, gas and heat was 140.9 million manats in H1 2014, by 16.2% more than in H1 2013, and 390.5 million manats in 2013, by 31.5% less than in 2012.
