Russia and Japan to start joint development of oil deposit in the Sea of Okhotsk

Russia and Japan will start joint oil extraction at the deposit in the Sea of Okhotsk, Prime reports with reference to YOMIURI.

As reported by the newspaper, on Wednesday Rosneft and INPEX Corporation will sign the agreement about joint development of Magadan-2 and Magadan-3. The deposits are situated 50-150 km to the Magadan Region in the Sea of Okhotsk at the depth of 200 metres.
