Plants in the Khabarovsk region may be included in the Far Eastern gas-chemical cluster

Several enterprises, which are planned to be constructed in the Khabarovsk region in the coming years, may be included in the Far Eastern petro- and gas-chemical cluster, the region government reports.

The creation of the cluster is provided for by the plan of the Russian gas- and petrochemistry development through until 2030 on basis of raw materials source of the south of Yakutia, Eastern Siberia and other fields. The day before, issues of its organization were discussed by the board in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. “The work on the creation of enterprises that may be included in the cluster is actively carried out in the region. It’s a question of the attraction of Russian and foreign investors,” – the region’s Governor, Vyacheslav Shport says.
