Gazpromneft-Sakhalin has got the go-ahead for development of the Dolginsk field in the Arctic from ecologists

Gazpromneft-Sakhalin has received a positive confirmation from the state ecological commission of experts for project documentations on construction of the exploratory well №3-SD of the Dolginsk oil field on the shelf of the Pechora Sea.
The commission confirmed that the documentation completely meets the acting environmental legislation and allows the company to carry out safety implementation of the project.
Carrying out the comprehensive assessment of ecological risks of the exploratory well drilling at the Dolginsk deposit, Gazpromneft-Sakhalin used methodology Preliminary Hazard Analysis, which is accepted in this kind of surveys.
