In the first quarter of 2014 the gas production on Yamal decreases by 2.2%

Since the beginning of 2014, compared with the data of the first three months of 2013, the volume of gas produced  on the Yamal Peninsula decreased by 2.2%, amounting to almost 148 billion 810 million m3. The  production of oil decreased by 2%, thus the performance of the first quarter of 2014 holds at the mark of 5 million 310 thousand tons.

Meanwhile, 4 million 111 thousand tons of gas condensate were recovered from the Yamal subsoil, which is an increase of 6.4%. The unchanged greater volume of gas belongs to a subsidiary of OAO "Gazprom", which accounted for 82.7 % of the total gas production in the region for the first 3 months of 2014. Totally the volume is 123 billion 126 million m3 of gas.
