Surgutneftegaz has launched the Eastern block of the Talakan oil and gas condensate deposit in Yakutia. In June 2013, the company is going to launch the new deposit in the Khanti-Mansi autonomous area. In April, Surgutneftegaz has launched the fifth deposit in Yakutia, the Eastern block of Talakan, discovered in 1984. Its proven extractable reserves by C1 and C2 are 19.5 million tons of oil and 29.16 billion cubic m of gas.
