Putin to discuss the position of Russia with the oil industry and decide, what measures the country should take to save the world market.

On March 1, 2016 Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with the heads of Russian oil companies.

It is expected that during the meeting the Head of State will discuss the situation on the world oil market, as well as possible steps to freeze production levels with top managers of companies.

The presidential press secretary Dmitriy Peskov confirmed that the meeting would take place, but the exact date was difficult to tell.
