Tatneft might accelerate the construction Taneco due to oil prices

​Tatneft studies the variants of development of the oil processing complex Taneco at various oil prices. A part of units will have to be launched prior to the plan.

In case of worsening of market conditions, we might focus on the construction of separate units and provide their launch at accelerated rates, the head of the department for the realization of construction projects, N. Zaikin, said.

The delayed coking unit and naphtha hydrocleaning unit launch is planned for 2016. It will allow to increase the efficiency of processing to 95%. In 2016 the construction of the light naphtha isomerization, hydrocoversion of heavy oil residue, ELOU-ABT-6 units will go on in the framework of the second stage of Taneco.

The shutdown of the construction of Taneco is out of question, N. Zaikin said.
