KazTransGas has put “Zharkum” deposit into operation

The national operator in the sphere of gas and gas supply in Kazakhstan “KazTransGas” JSC has put into pilot and industrial operation the Zharkum deposit, the company’s press service reports on Friday.

According to the press service, on November 27th the official ceremony of putting into the pilot and  industrial operation of the Zharkum deposit dedicated to the Day of the First President took place. The head of the Zhambyl region, K. Kokrekbaev, CEO of “Amangeldy Gas” LLP, K. Tulekeshev, participated in the ceremony.

“The pilot and industrial operation of the deposit will be held by KazTransGas JSC. The deposit is located 215 km off the town of Taraz. The geological gas and gas condensate reserves of the Zharkum deposit make up 1 bln 273 mln cubic m and 41 thousand tons respectively”, is reported.
