The EU hopes that supplies of Russian gas to be stable in winter

Russian gas is not supplied to the Ukraine, as the state is in no hurry to pay its bills for the blue fuel. The EU, in turn, hopes that it won’t have problems with gas from Russia.

At the international conference on energy security, held in the Kazakh capital, the EU Energy Commissioner, Maros Shevchovich spoke. He reported that he was in constant contact with the Russian and Ukrainian officials responsible for the transit of gas to Europe, and optimistic about the upcoming Russian gas supply to Europe.
