The President of Rosneft I. Sechin has sent to the Vice Premier A. Dvorkovich and the Minister of Energy Novak the letter requesting to increase oil transporting to Belarus

The President of Rosneft I. Sechin has sent to the Vice Premier A. Dvorkovich and the Minister of Energy,Alexander  Novak the letter requesting to increase oil transporting to Belarus to 23 million tons a year in 2013. By currently  Russia has promised supplies of only 18.5 million tons.  Mr. Sechin explains the request by the binding contracts of his company for oil refining in Belarus and the liabilities for petrol supplies to the internal market.

Lukoil is also interested in restarting of oil supplies to Belarus in the full volume  because it also the contract liabilities, the company’s representative claims. However Lukoil has not appealed  to the Government with such request. The representatives of Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz and Gazprom Neft give no comments about the situation with supplies to Belarus.
