KUZOCM has started production of new rolled wire sort

Kamensk-Uralsky plant for non-ferrous metals processing, KUZOCM has started production of a new sort, cast rolled wire made of oxygen-free copper. It’s cast with the use of vertical uninterrupted casting method.

The new line was launched on October 25. Assembling and commissioning of the new equipment began in May 2013 and were completed within 6 months, setting the record in operability. The main chain of the line is the uninterrupted casting furnace costing Euro 1.125 million. The plant will made up to 6,000 tons of rolled wire a year with the help of the furnace.
