Export loading – export supplies of Russian gasoline increase again

In October, Russian oil companies increased the export of high-octane gasoline, which was at a low level over last two months because of repairs at refineries and advised of the Ministry of Energy on stocks saving. In the summer, the growth of the export led to a dramatic increase of wholesale prices, but now, in the period of the seasonal decrease of gasoline demand, analysts and participants of the market don’t expect anything like this.

In October, Bashneft and Gazpromneft increased the export of high-octane gasoline, although their stocks were less than the Minister of Energy recommended, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports. In the first three weeks of October, Bashneft exported 41.2 thousand tons of high-octane gasoline, Gazpromneft – 16.1 thousand tons, ForteInvest – 22 thousand tons and Gazprom neftekhim Salavat – 17 thousand tons. In the first three weeks, oil companies exported 101 thousand tons of gasoline that is more than the September level in the amount of 90 thousand tons. Then the high-octane gasoline export was the lowest in the year: in August 102.7 thousand tons were exported and in July – 222 thousand tons.
