RusAl: aluminium shortage in the world market to make up 1.5 mln tons

According to UC “RusAl”, aluminium deficit in the world market will make up 1.5 million tons. The global consumption of aluminium will increase by 6.5% to 55 million tons. It went up by 6% up to 27 million tons in the first half of 2014 year-on-year.

“The highest rate of growth of demand for aluminium will be monitored in China (+13% in 2014). It will increase by 5% in North America, by 4% in Asia, exclusive of China and by 3% in Europe.
