Poland is ready for possible disruptions in the supply of Russian gas through the Ukraine, representatives of the energy sector of the country reported.

Head of the Polish gas transmission company Gas-system, which manages a network of pipelines in the country, Jan Hadam assured that there were no signals of the supply disruption through the Ukraine for a while "In the case of possible disruptions in the supplies from this direction consumers will receive gas without any problems at the current demand," - he said.

"We maintain continuous communication with the operator of the Ukrainian gas transportation network. Currently, we have no information about the possible difficulties with obtaining gas from the east through the Drozdovich point on the Polish-Ukrainian border," - said Hadam.
