RusHydro to allocate money to hasten construction of hydroelectric power plant

RusHydro has increased funding for the construction of the Upper Naryn cascade of hydroelectric power station in Kyrgyzstan by 1 billion rubles to increase the pace of the project implementation, the press centre of the Russian Federal Hydro Generation Company reports on Tuesday.

In 2013, Russia and Kyrgyzstan agreed on the joint construction of four hydropower plants on the upper reaches of the Naryn River. The Russian side allocates funds for the construction, Kyrgyzstan provides for the right to use land and other assets as a contribution to the authorized capital.
