Prospecting drilling at the site of Chernyshov ridge in the Timano-Pechora oil and gas bearing province starts

RN-Nyaganneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has started drilling of exploration and appraisal well at the license area №2 of the Chernyshev ridge and Khoreyverskaya depression in the Komi Republic in the framework of the full-scale project on the study of the Ural part of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province.
The project depth of the exploration well is more than 4.5 thousand meters. In the course of the drilling, it is planned to sample about 435 meters around the core section, to perform an advanced set of geophysical research and to produce a series of tests in an open hole and column.
