The Arbitration court found the requirements of German RWE to Gazprom legal

The International Court of Arbitration in Vienna sustained a claim of the energy concern RWE against Gazprom on a review of prices on the Russian gas. It is said in a statement of the German company.

According to the court judgment Gazprom is to compensate a part of the payments made by RWE since May 2010. The court has also held that the gas prices, fixed in long-term contracts, must be reconsidered at the expense of indexing of the cost in the market.
