Tatneft is about to generate power from refinery waste

Yesterday, the Board of Directors of OJSC “Tatneft” approved the construction contract with its 100% affiliate “Nizhnekamsk TPP” LLC on the reconstruction of its power boiler units TGME-464. Under the agreement, these aggregates are to be switched from gas fuel to oil coke dust, which “Taneko” plans to start producing in late 2015 at the delayed coking unit within the framework of the launch of hydro cracking complex.

The cost of the reconstruction of the TPP is assessed at 9.8 billion roubles. They are about to finish it before March 31st, 2017, Kommersant writes.
