LUKOIL is about to restore production at “Stavrolen” in Jan 2015

OJSC “LUKOIL” plans to restore the output of ethylene and propylene at “Stavrolen” in January 2015. The press-service of the company states.

“The committee of the Caucasus Department of the Russian Federal Service of Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision for technical investigation into the cause of the ignition, which happened on February 26th, 2014 at the gas separation division of the workshop No2 at a petrochemical enterprise “Stavrolen” (part of LUKOIL) has completed the work. The committee specified the causes of flame formation. It was unsealing of the aluminium heat-transfer device because of destruction of the corrugated plate of the left bay. The committee found the human action during the incident professional and operational,” is said in a statement
