Explored resources of oil to provide production of 600 million tons during the next 30 years in Russia

The explored resource base of Russian oil fields is enough to provide for the annual production of 600 million tons over the next 30 years, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergei Donskoi reported, spoken in the Federation Council.

"The Russian Federation has significant potential of oil reserves growth - the most reliable prospective oil resources, localized in the country, make up 12.5 billion tons, and inferred resources, characterized by a lower degree of study, are estimated at about 50 billion tons. “The explored resource base, in principle, is sufficient to ensure the annual production of up to 600 million tons during the next 30 years,"- Donskoy said.
